Class of 1984. Made strawberry shortcakes and watched this classic with TB Cookies and Rob Schrab tonight. Life is good.
All I can say is how thankful I am that The Downtown Independent Theater was booked for June and we got to do the screening in July. I love working with Kyle and Todd on this show!
This episode features Matt Danner, Jay Johnston, Mark Cohen and my adorable cousin Halle Detrixhe. Thanks again to my brother Matt, David Marsh, Jon Mandanici and everyone who lent us clocks!
For those of you who weren’t at Channel 101 last Saturday, here is episode three of Le Typewriter.
Directed by Kate Freund and Kyle Reiter. Shot by me.

Welcome to the Doll House. One of my all time favorite childhood movies.
Episode Two of Le Typewriter, created by Kate Freund and Kyle Reiter, shot by Todd Bishop. Staring Kate Freund, Jennifer Flack, Matt Danner, Tony Millionaire and Willy Roberts. Featuring Kelly Hine, Lindsay Ames, Kristen Vogelsong, Austin Salmi, Jim Klimek, Spencer Strauss, Klementina Mellin, Todd Bjurstrom and Laura Chuchill.
Thank you to everyone who helped Kyle, Todd and I with this episode and to anyone who said they enjoyed watching the show. We got picked up for a third episode, come watch it July 24th at the at the downtown independent theater.

A behind the scenes look at the making of Le Typewriter 2.
The measurements for this cabinet are 2.5 X 1.8 feet. I’m just shy of 5’10. Todd and Kyle kept saying you’re not going to get in there but voila! We wanted that opening shot and we got it. The best part was when the boys had their go of getting in the box.

Come out to Channel 101 tonight at the Downtown Independent theater. The second episode of Kyle Reiter and I’s show Le Typewriter is playing alongside some really fantastic new pilots and returning shows. Thanks to everyone who worked on this one especially our incredible director of photography, Todd Bishop.
Kyle just gave me 8 lessons of beginning french from Pimsleur for my Montreal trip. I have 9 days to master the language and one more night to finish editing Le Typewriter 2. Kyle is doing an audio pass and I’m practicing my french pronunciation. I sound like an idiot. But the real problem lies in when I return. What happens when I get back and have an accent? It’s totally going to be 9th grade all over again.
Did I ever tell you that for no reason I spoke with an English accent for an entire year? I just showed up to school one day, curled my tongue and voila I was British. After a few days other kids started noticing and asked, what the hell is wrong with your voice? But it was too late, I couldn’t stop it. My h’s wouldn’t come back to me. It was only after the Spice Girl invasion and a new friendship with a transfer student from England that my normal voice returned.
